Lady Heyes, Frodsham

The building itself dates back several centuries and in the 1800s is thought to have been a watering hole for the local gentry, so it seems fitting that it now has its own micro brewery, with brewery tours part of its many attractions.

Memories are made of doing things. I recall my dad making a windbreak on a soggy beach in Southport. It took him ages and as soon as he and my mum settled down to enjoy a few rays, he discovered the tide was coming in, so we had to pack everything away and find something else to do. But holidays are usually when we have fun. Whether it's travelling to a beautiful beach, or drinking ale in a beer tent at a country show. We can hang out with friends for a game of golf, or seek out the beauties of past heritage.
So here some ideas of what you might do during the summer vacation, whether you're young or a bit older, you won't have to travel too far to get to them and you may even create some very special holiday moments all of your own.
