Students walk it
Students and staff from Wellington School put their best foot forward to raise more than 20,000 for Frances House childrens hospice.
The annual sponsored walk, which has raised nearly 250,000 for a number of local and national charities, has been running for 15 years.
It was a particularly poignant achievement for student Gary Drinkwater. Before she passed away recently, his sister Macie Oliver had been a patient at the Cheshire-based hospice.
Dosh for Downs Day
Ten schools and nurseries across mid-Cheshire signed up for the first ever Dosh for Downs Day to mark World Down Syndrome Awareness Week.
The Cheshire Downs Syndrome Support Group earmarked Friday the 4th of March as a non-uniform day for schoolchildren in return for a 1 donation to the charity and more than 1000 is hoping to been raised from the first ever Dosh for Downs Day.
Former Manchester United player and celebrity TV star Lee Sharpe certainly made a striking impression when he visited Cross Street in Manchester city centre to help Freedom Back Clinics celebrate the opening of its latest clinic.
Having performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony he chatted to the invited guests prior to receiving a sports massage from experienced therapist Chelsea Clegg.
Va va vroom!
Over 150 guests from Cheshire, including Louis Saha, Sylvain Distin and Michael Oliver, joined BBC presenter Jacey Normand at the official launch of the Bentley Continental GT.
Held at the Bentley Manchester showroom on Mobberley Road, the prestigious event gave local enthusiasts the chance to catch a first glimpse of the highly anticipated Continental GT as well as the opportunity to get behind the wheel.

There was a special festive atmosphere in Knutsford recently when newcomer Terzetto was given a warm welcome.
