Legoland Discovery Centre, Manchester

Build yourself a great day out at this new attraction at the Trafford Centre's Barton Square. Described as a passport to the Lego world of colour, creativity and fun, the centre is the UK's first and has more than two million Lego bricks.
The centre is bursting with interactive features. Children can take a tour that reveals how the bricks are made and there is also Miniland, an area that includes all of the local iconic landmarks. Visitors can also make their own versions which can be tested on an earthquake machine to see if their structure would stay up. There is Kingdom Quest, an interactive Lego laser ride, a Lego racers build and test track, a Duplo village with soft play area and a caf and shop.

Gulliver's World, Warrington

Gulliver's World is a fun place for all of the family. Aimed at children aged two to 13, there are themed areas for you to discover with rides, shows, restaurants and shops. You may bump into residents Gully and Gilly Mouse.

There are also special events organised for Easter. Take part in the Grand Easter Egg Hunt on April 3rd and 4th or make your own Easter bonnet for a special parade being held on Easter weekend. There will also be Easter themed arts and crafts and Splashzone, the attraction's water play factory, will be open.

Go Ape! Delamere

Trek through the treetops, speed down huge zip wires and make the longest crossing across Bosun's Chair at Go Ape in Delamere Forest. All of this as well as fantastic views of Lake Linmere and the chance to spot some of the local wildlife. Go Ape! at Delamere Forest offers a day packed with adventure. If you want to travel further afield there are also sites at Rivington, Lancashire and Grizedale Forest, in the Lake District.

Tatton Park, Knutsford

Tatton Park is a glorious place to visit at any time of year. Enjoy leisurely walks around the vast grounds, try and spot some of the resident deer, browse around the handful of shops or relax in the restaurant.

Easter is an extra special time. From Saturday, April 3rd to Monday, April 5th, the Teddy Bear Easter Festival comes to Tatton Park. Children can bring along their teddy bears to get its temperature checked at the Teddy Bear Hospital. You can also take par in the hunt for the honey bear in the gardens as well as joining in some fun activities in the mansion, farm and stableyard.

Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester

A real adventure playground for children to learn and have fun. There are regular events being held at this renowned museum as well as permanent and temporary collections detailing fascinating inventions, discoveries and history. Why not visit the Victorian sewer, one of the popular Planetarium shows or take a look at the magnitude of the Beyer-Garrett locomotive.

Red House Farm, Dunham Massey

Red House Farm has been run by the Clare family for more than 100 years. Today, people flock from all over the region to this popular visitor attraction. As well as the farm, there is also a farm shop and tea rooms and it is also home to the famous Maize Maze. Events are held throughout the year and plans for some fantastic Easter celebrations are expected to be confirmed soon.

Lady Heyes Crafts and Antiques Centre, Frodsham

If you love to potter and mooch then this is the place for you. The Lady Heyes Crafts and Antiques Centre is home to various craftspeople and those with creative flair as well as great antiques showrooms to look around and vintage clothes on offer. The centre is also home to Frodshams first microbrewery.

If you want a break, try the Wishing Well Tea Room and let the children enjoy the delights of Cocos Play Barn.

Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre and Arboretum, Macclesfield

Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre Redevelopment

Jodrell Bank are going through an exciting redevelopment for a NEW visitor centre.
The Discovery Centre includes a new entrance building - the Planet Pavilion - and a new Space Pavilion for exhibitions and events.

The project also includes a stylish glass-walled cafe with spectacular views of the iconic Lovell

Telescope, an education space and landscaping of the gardens including the creation of a new Galaxy Maze.

The Discovery Centre is set to launch summer 2011

Our Welcome Centre will be the Environmental Discovery Centre situated to the left of the car park.

Opening hours will be 11am - 4pm from the 27th of September. During this time admission is FREE for all visitors.

Temporary toilet facilities will be available outside. There will be no cafe but picnics are welcome. There will be limited parking spaces due to building equipment.
Areas open to visit will be the Gardens, the Welcome Centre and the Lovell Pathway around the telescope.
