Tatton magic

Staff at Tatton’s Home Farm have been busy creating a fabulous programme of summer holiday activities inspired by The Magic of Beatrix Potter which is taking place across the Tatton Park estate until September 1st.

The Summer Farm Fun continues until Friday 23rd of August. In Tatton’s fabulous maize maze search for Peter Rabbit’s animal friends and the challenge is to find them before Mr.McGregor does. There’ll also be a fun Beatrix Potter quiz and back by popular demand are the daily sheep races with some of the farm’s ewes running as fast as their hooves can carry them cheered on by farm visitors.

Red House Farm, Dunham Massey

Getting active in the great outdoors has never been so much fun. We’re not saying the kids can go wild in the countryside but here at Red House Farm there’s everything from the Maize Maze, to train rides, inflatable slides and of course all the attractions of the farmyard. The grown-ups get to enjoy a well-earned rest in the cafe and can bring a taste of the countryside back home from the lovely farm shop.

Holidays are when we spend quality time with those we love and we don’t have to jet off to faraway shores to have fun. In fact if holidaying at home is good enough for HRH The Queen who spends summer at Balmoral every year, then it’s good enough for us!

Southport Pleasureland

Oh yes! indulge days of traditional treats with the family down at Southport Pleasureland.
