Jo Nesbo launches the 2013 Manchester Literature Festival at Manchester Town Hall

King of Nordic crime writing Jo Nesbo made a special appearance at Manchester Town Hall recently to launch the 2013 Manchester Literature Festival.
Nesbo who has shot to literary fame with novels such as The Snowman, The Redeemer and The Bat took to the stage to talk about his life and careers ( Yes. Plural. It turns out he has been a professional footballer and is also in a band) and his latest Harry Hole thriller Police.
Nesbo fans, councillors, sponsors and invited guests drank wine and nibbled on canapes as they eagerly awaited the arrival of the writer.
Now in its seventh year the HSBC Premier sponsored festival runs from October 7th to the 20th with a wide range of writers and events for adults and children.
