What we do:

We refurbish homes, be it kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms or home offices. We build extensions, knock walls down, move windows and doors, fit new floors and ceilings. We are happy to work from an architect's plans for customers who are organising the building work themselves. We will do as much or as little as our customers require.

Who we do it for:

We aim to serve our local discerning clients who require quality products at competitive prices along with a high level of service.

What makes us special:
We've been here for 20 years now. We genuinely care about our customers; we treat them as we would like to be treated. When working in people's homes it's vital that there is a relationship of mutual respect and trust.

How we got started:

We decided to start the business in 1988. My father, Derek, had been made redundant from British Steel. Jane, my wife, who had seven years of high street retail management experience, was ready to return to full time employment as Charlotte, our daughter, had started nursery. We felt we could offer, as we still do, a friendly, professional service. In 1989 we opened our first showroom and we are still going strong, although there are now 14 of us on the showroom team.

Business person I most admire:

Warren Buffett, the American investor, businessman and philanthropist. He has not forgotten his roots, cares about others, believes in investing in people and looks at the long-term plan.

My right hand woman:

Jane, my wife and business partner.

Secret of our success:

We like our customers and our customers like what we do.

My business philosophy:

Invest in people and always respect your customer.

When I'm not working I like to:

Spend time with my family, especially with our new grandson Finlay who is a little star!

My next move:

Our second showroom. We are all very excited about our new showroom
in Timperley which will be opening in January.
