Best place for... by Antonio Franchitti

The best places in Manchester and Cheshire by Antonio Franchitti who owns Indulgence in Bramhall.

Toni and his partner Marjolaine set up Indulgence after having to travel many miles to find good ice cream for his family. The caf has become famous throughout the area, not just for ice cream (it is wonderful) but for its fine food, cakes, chocolates and also for the events Toni holds there on a regular basis. From Strictly Come Dancing nights, to charity fund raising, Indulgence and Toni really are at the heart of the community. These are his BEST PLACES FOR

Business Lunch
Sams Chop House in Manchester is a great place to relax and chill out. I am a fan of authentic beers and lagers which are available here along with the best pub food in Manchester. Excellent for both business or a leisurely lunch.

Coffee & Ice Cream
Without a doubt theres only one place to choose - my very own eatery, Indulgence. Serving artisan ice creams (over 150 different flavours). We serve a wide range of red and black bean coffee, my favourite being an Expresso - we use 42 beans in every measure.

Cocktails
Its got to be Cloud 23 in the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate, Manchester. Brilliant selection of champagne and cocktails and what a wonderful view!

Romantic Meal
Stock in Manchester is one of my great favourites. Wonderful Edwardian surroundings with a sophisticated menu which takes me back to my Southern Italian roots. Excellent wine list, with some of my regional favourites. You can finish the evening off with dancing too.

Family Meal
The Beijing Restaurant in Poynton is a lovely family run restaurant close to my home. Authentic Peking cuisine, always a great night. For a special occasion we choose the Yang Sing in
Chinatown, Manchester.
