Barkers The Florist on Thorley Lane in Timperley, partied in style by inviting staff, friends, customers and suppliers to a special party marking the 10th Anniversary of owners David Kirkman and Sarah Berrington taking over the business on 1st July 2002.
Over the last ten years they have taken the business to new heights, with a new brand identity, launching an e-commerce website and introducing a loyalty scheme which now boasts over 1,500 customers. Over 100 guests attended the all day celebration and they were treated to a themed garden party get together, with food, drink and live entertainment.
Sarah commented; Like many businesses, we are fighting against the odds, but our focus is firmly on delivering a first class customer service and quality product. Weve worked hard and were extremely proud to hit this milestone! Our aim is now to expand the shops gift section, following the success of our new greetings card range and as weddings are a large part of our business, we are developing a new wedding area, displaying sample bouquets and table centre pieces.
Sarah concluded; Altrincham, Timperley and Hale are fantastic places to do business and were looking forward to our next decade here. We would like to thank all our customers for their support over the past 10 years, as their loyalty is what really makes us a success.
