Manchester’s most talked about new food bar, Wahu, opened its doors on The Avenue in Spinningfields at the end of June, offering fresh food served fast to those who live and work in the city centre. The opening night saw a relaxed yet fun party, as guests sampled the fresh fare to the sounds of live music, on a beautifully sunny Spinningfields evening.

Wahu focuses on providing the highest quality fresh food, including chicken, beef, lamb, salmon and halloumi, all prepared to order on the restaurant’s grill and then added to a base of either salad, white or brown rice, whole-wheat pasta or a wrap.

Wahu was opened by young entrepreneur, Jamie Barr, after he noticed a gap in the market for healthy food, on the go.
