A Fairytale of New York was the theme for the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust’s Annual Ball and what a fairytale it turned out to be for the local children’s charity, raising over £100,000 on the night!

Funds were raised through an auction, with incredible lots including, of course, a trip to New York, a Grand Raffle and two very special, slightly different, raffles: the Christmas Cracker raffle where beautiful Hotel Chocolat crackers were sold against the clock and the holder of a golden ticket hidden inside one won a stunning diamond and white gold bracelet, donated by Randalls of Altrincham and the Teddy Bear raffle, run by Belmond, who sent along four stewards who sold raffle tickets in the form of cuddly bears. The lucky winner walked off with two tickets for the charity’s 2015 Variety Dinner on board the Northern Belle.
