love the quirky take on country pubs, the real fires and character of this Cheshire gem. It’s a great place to hang out - and you can take your dog!

Celeb chef Aiden Byrne’s archetypal country inn in leafy Lymm is a great place to end up after a walk. it not only oozes character but has a delicious menu of locally sourced food complimented by craft ales and delicious wines. Menu includes dips, Scotch eggs, mixed grills, steak and ale pie... comfort food at its very best.

Tremendous 18th century pub which is currently being restored by new owners who have spent several years in France. They plan to bring a little Gallic je ne sais quoi to the area with rustic dishes, great ales and a hand-picked selection of wines. The pub is only open for special occasions at the moment but should be ready for its launch this autumn. Check them out on twitter or facebook for now.
